Dr. Jaime Schwartz, is an American board-certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and clinical professor at USC.
After earning a bachelor degree in cellular and molecular biology from Tulane University, Dr. Schwartz went on to attend Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he remained to complete a 6-year plastic surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Schwartz completed his fellowship in advanced breast and body aesthetics at the internationally renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he served as a clinical instructor. During his tenure at Georgetown, Dr. Schwartz received many honors for his excellence in patient care, teaching, and professionalism. He won the ‘Caring-Star Award’ yearly, given by patients to the top-rated healthcare providers at Georgetown University Hospital, he was given the highest teaching award as ‘Outstanding Resident Teacher’ for the Department of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital, and he was also awarded a ‘Certificate of Professionalism’ from the Washington Hospital Center medical staff.
Dr. Schwartz dedicates himself to creating policies aimed at enhancing safety and awareness for both patients and physicians. He is committed to promoting advances in medicine, and serves on various American Society of Plastic Surgeons committees, including Health Policy, Patient Safety, Emerging Trends, Quality and Performance Measurement and the Clinical Trials Network. Some of his accomplishments include being selected by the ASPS as 1 of only 10 U.S. plastic surgeons to develop clinical practice guidelines for breast surgery using implants as well as your body’s own natural tissues, creating the breakthrough LipoLift™ breast lift procedure, and serving as a principle investigator for an FDA clinical trial aimed at correcting poorly healed breast scars as well as currently for Mentor breast implants. He has also received national recognition with many ‘Physician’s Choice’ and ‘Compassionate Doctor’ awards.
Because of his specialized talents in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Schwartz is highly sought after and often takes care of industry elite and the “real housewives” of Beverly Hills. He has been a featured doctor on the hit TV show Botched, and made appearances on E, Bravo, and After Buzz TV. Dr. Schwartz has been published in respected journals and textbooks, is an Aesthetic Editor for the Plastic Surgery Education Network, and lectures frequently on the topic of developments in plastic surgery procedures and treatments. He is currently the director of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the renowned Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills, California.
